| These notes describe the new enhancements made to the SimpleAgent since Version 4.0. |

| IPv6 Support |
|
| The SimpleAgent now supports communication via Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). A radio button in the main window controls which version to use. |
| |
| When sending traps the user can either specify an IPv4 or IPv6 address. The SimpleAgent will automatically recognize the IP version based on the address type. |
